Team Cadillac to Have New Look

Team Cadillac will have a new look on their CTS-V racers when they arrive at Infineon Raceway this weekend.
The new paint scheme is to promote Cadillac’s new content pack for Project Gotham Racing 3 on the Microsoft XBox 360.
Also of note is that the team will have a guest driver, Johnny O’Connell will drive the No. 16 Cadillac CTS-V.

Another 2008 CTS spy shot

WorldCarFans is running yet another spy shot of the new 2008 CTS. In this pic, instead of baggy vinyl camo, we have black and white pattern camo.
You can see that the new CTS is going to have quite a stance with a muscular presence.
Now, if the interior is as nice as we’re expecting…than this CTS could be the best one yet.

Toronto Star review of the DTS

The Toronto Star recently took the new Cadillac DTS for a spin and review session.
The review is pretty standard fare for anyone who has seen or driven the DTS or its forebear the DeVille – good power and ride, not a sports sedan. Very much a sedan to please the aging demographic that used to make-up the core of Cadillac’s owner body.

BLS sales off to slow start

Autoblog.com has a post today about slower than expected initial sales of the new Cadillac BLS.
Production began in April and May was the first full month of sales. Sales to-date total slightly more than 400 units. However, even though this is less than 50% the rate needed to reach target Cadillac has stated of 10,000 per year – it is already the best selling Cadillac model.
While Autoblog seems to think that this is a sign that the BLS is a failure, we and Cadillac would likely agree that the first full month of sales is a touch early to make that claim.
Once word-of-mouth kicks in, sales are likely to rise.

Spy shots of the new SRX interior refresh

The good folks at All Cars, All the Time have recently dug up a pic of the refreshed interior for the SRX.
As we’ve heard before, the SRX was planned to be re-designed for 08, but that was pushed out to 2010 or so recently. In its place, we get a new interior that abandons the look of the current CTS in favor of one that crosses what we’ve seen of the next CTS and the interior of the Euro-only BLS.
