2007 SRX with all-new interior debuts

We knew it was coming, and now here it is…a brand new interior for the SRX. This is yet another one of Bob Lutz’ influences on the Cadillac brand, as he has always been uncomfortable with the Art and Science design ethic since the first CTS, SRX, and XLR came out.
Especially troubling for him, besides the heavily edgy exterior has been the interiors of the SRX and CTS. Since the CTS is all new starting next year and the SRX replacement has been put off until a few years down the road – GM saw fit to put a brand new interior in the SRX as a stop-gap.
Expect many of these cues in the new CTS next year as well.

2007 CTS artist rendering at The Car Connection

The Car Connection has put together a rendering that looks to be a pretty good guess of the look of the new CTS.
Unfortunately, they seem to have the perspective a bit skewed – but the front end looks very close to what we’ve seen on 60 Minutes and in previous spy photos.

Cadillac European sales up 30% in June

For those of you playing at home…the introduction of the new Cadillac BLS in the European market is helping Cadillac sales.
For the first 6 months of 2006, Cadillac sold 1690 vehicles in Europe, an increase of 30% over 2005.

2007 STS changes

AutoExpress has more spy shots of the changes to the 2007 STS. It appears we are due for an updated grill, new tail lights, and a mildly updated interior.
