Cadillac is debuting today in LA their Urban Luxury Concept. This appears to be Cadillac’s foray into a segment we’ve seen recently with Aston Martin’s Cygnet, and to a lesser extent with Lexus’ CT hatchback. Think of this as a Smart ForTwo with Cadillac attitude.

Packing a 1.0l 3-cylinder engine with electric assist routed through a dual-clutch automated manual, the ULC would be expected to deliver mileage numbers of approximately 56 city/65 highway while providing urban-friendly packaging and parking ease.

At the November auto show in Los Angeles, Cadillac is slated to show off a concept.

Expected is a thinly veiled version of the upcoming sub-CTS ATS model.
