Over at the Pittsburgh, PA Post Gazette, they are discussing the recent findings of a pair of luxury customer satisfaction surveys that have ranked Cadillac among the top names in keeping customers happy.
It turns out, GM has given dealers the authority to do things differently – especially when it comes to making the customer happy.
They’ve gotten the product down. Now it appears they are doing the sales and service portion right too.
Watch out…Cadillac is poised to become one of the big boys in the luxury market again.

Last night, AutoPacific announced the winner of their Vehicle Satisfaction Award for Large Luxury Car.
The 2007 winner is none other than the DTS.
AutoPacific president George Peterson:
It takes an especially satisfying vehicle to win the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards outright – top car and rated higher than the top truck. The Cadillac DTS – Cadillac’s Large Luxury Car – achieved that honor for the 2007 model year. Owners particularly liked the Cadillac DTS for its package (Size, Roominess, Ease of Entry/Exit, Visibility), Exterior and Interior Style, Ride, Power/Acceleration, Innovative Technology and Warranty Coverage. This is part of the Cadillac renaissance.

Ward’s Auto World’s annual interior show is June 6-7, 2007. At this show, participants are asked to vote for the best interiors in several vehicle classes.
This year, the Cadillac SRX (with it’s new ‘cut and sew’ interior treatment) has taken both the Ward’s staff and ‘Industry at large’ votes for best Crossover Utility Vehicle interior.
Given that interior quality was one sticking point of the new Cadillacs with some buyers – this is certainly good news.
