The good folks over at Jalopnik, via the spy shooters over at KGB Photography have finally unearthed the upcoming BRX undergoing testing.
The BRX is based on GM’s Theta architecture (as is obvious in the picture showing the BRX next to Saturn’s new Vue that shares the platform.
Expect the Cadillac and its Saab twin to be significantly upgraded from the Saturn cousin, though.
We should see the BRX as a 2010 model, meaning we are still more than a year from its unveiling.

MotorTrend is reporting on some recent testing Cadillac was spotted doing of the next CTS-V in Colorado.
As we get closer to launch, the camouflage is getting less pronounced and some styling details are beginning to become clear. For instance, it is clear that the signature V-Series mesh grill is present and accounted for. Unusually styled wheels (for a V-Series) may mark either that the production wheels are not ready or a change in what V-Series wheels look like. Be sure to take a look at the recent CTS Sport concept, its bulging hood, and then take a peak at these spy shots – it looks like a very similar hood treatment to me…even if you can’t tell if the vents are present on the V.
MotorTrend is guessing that a detuned version of the new Corvette ZR-1 V-8 will power our beloved CTS-V and push out as much as 580hp.
Expect the production CTS-V to debut in the upcoming autoshow season, perhaps as early as January in Detroit.

Over at GM Inside News, a reader has managed to snap quite a few images of what appears to be a lower-trim version of the new CTS (note the smaller wheels).
It certainly looks like fit and finish are better than anything we’ve seen from Cadillac yet.
I doubt that thier source ‘caught’ the CTS given most folks who spot a car in the wild don’t get the unfettered access this person seemed to get (like from the driver’s seat, etc). Regardless, this is good confirmation of what we should expect of the new CTS when it goes on sale in a couple months.

Over at LeftLane News, they are running some spy shots that seem to show a mildly facelifted SRX (new taillights, etc.) in what can only be described as V-Series trim.
The fenders sport Buick-esque port holes that suggest V-8 power. The front bumper has mesh accents that suggest a connection to the V-Series cars. The headlights have black accents in place of the amber signal/reflectors on their outbound edges.
It is mentioned in this article that a sports model of the SRX has been rumored for some time, but the recently announced Sport package was taken by many to be the fruition of that rumor…perhaps there is more up Cadillac’s sleeve.
Wouldn’t a supercharged Northstar V-8 make for an interesting addition to the slow-selling SRX?
