You’ve seen it before in movies and TV, the blatant placement of a product logo so obviously out of place that you know that money changed hands to get it into the shot.
Over at MediaPost, they have an interesting review of the placement of a Cadillac Escalade in the August 8th episode of FX’s Rescue Me where the placement makes sense as the big SUV is actually written into the storyline.
The only mistake seems to be that they keep referring to it having a V-10 (don’t we all wish).
