Yep, yet another magazine that got flown to Germany to test the new CTS. Not that I’m sore about it or anything.
They start out giving the historical significance for the original CTS and how it actually, at its peak, outsold all its competition except the BMW 3-series (a pretty significant tidbit I didn’t know until now) and how the new car is significantly better than before and easily the equal of all the competition.
Yet more confirmation of what we already knew – the new CTS rocks!

What a nice read! That trivia about the sales success of the first-gen CTS is great news. It really looks like the competition may have cause to be concerned, as I’m certain this next-gen CTS is far superior to its predecessor. Way to go Cadillac! Reduced gaps, luxurious interior, classy styling, a Coupe in the pipeline, superb performance. . . these will sell like hotcakes! Of course, the old import die-hards that will not shop American will bolster the other brands, but that’s O.K., the Caddy will still outsell them.
