XTS to debut at LA auto show

For those of you waiting for the XTS you still have to wait until next year to pick one up. However, your wait to see exactly how close the new car is to the XTS Platinum concept is only a few more days. Cadillac has announced Wednesday, November 16 as the debut at the Los Angeles auto show at 12:30pm Eastern (9:30am Pacific). This photo shows the production car for the first time, but we'll have to wait a few days for other details such as powertrain options, etc. As you may recall, the XTS is based on GM's Epsilon front/all-wheel drive architecture (shared with the Buick Lacrosse among others) and has lately made waves with its mild hybrid technology that gives mid 30's economy, if only in a 4-cylinder form that the XTS may not have. Expect more details after the debut.
