Cadillac CELESTIQ Unveil on July 22
GM’s new flagship electric vehicle, built on the new Ultium battery platform, will debut in-full on July 22 at 9a Eastern time via Cadillac’s Instagram.
Rumor has this 4-seat, ultra-luxury, Cadillac being priced deeply into the 6-figure range with estimates from $200-300k. Cadillac states that every CELESTIQ will be unique and designed and built for the specific customer - which lends some weight to the high expected price tag.
What we know so far is that this will be a 4-door, hatchback design with more 3D-printed components than any other GM vehicle. The roof is a glass panel with 4 zones of active dimming. The front and rear compartments will high quality displays, as we see in the teaser photos.
The CELESTIQ will be the second all-electric from the brand after the LYRIQ that just went on sale. GM has announced that Cadillac is making a transition to being an all-electric brand in the coming years - so this car should preview much of the design and features that will trickle down into the rest of the offerings over the coming years.
