Cadillac ATS takes North American Car of the Year Award
At this years North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a group of 49 journalists from the US and Canada have named the Cadillac ATS the car of the year. This makes the first time Cadillac has had a winner of this award that is not affiliated with any one publication. The ATS took top honors over the other car finalists, the Ford Fusion and Honda Accord. "This is a very meaningful honor for the entire Cadillac team, especially the men and women who build the ATS in Lansing, Michigan, and our dedicated and talented designers and engineers,” said Bob Ferguson, GM vice president, global Cadillac. “A car like ATS is the result of incredible commitment and focus. That’s the only method for creating a great performing luxury car." The winners were announced this morning to kick off the opening of the media days of the show in Detroit. Congrats to Cadillac and the ATS team.
