Cadillac Halts Production of ATS 2.0T Manual

If you have been following the reviews of the new ATS, you know the impressions have been glowing except for one specific item. The manual transmission accuracy and feel have been panned even compared to the less than enjoyable shifter in the 3-Series. Today, MotorTrend has heard that Cadillac has halted production of the manual equipped ATS until a revised bushing set is ready. The new bushings are aimed at more precise shifting with better feel. Oddly this appears to mean a switch to softer bushings. Expect the revision to make it to production in the coming weeks.
