D3 Planning Hotrod ATS

Jalopnik is reporting that GM and tuner D3 are working together to build a hot-rod ATS. We don't yet know anything specific about what will be under the hood, but we expect to see it this year. An obvious place to debut this would be the SEMA show in November. It would be interesting and fairly unprecedented for GM to show off any new power train, such as the expected forced induction V-6 from the ATS-V. However, if we were betting, we'd expect a highly tuned version of the 2.0 Turbo packing well north of 300hp. Now we wait. Source: Jalopnik.com
