Hear the Cadillac Sixteen Concept Run

Ever wonder what the Cadillac Sixteen's V-16 engine would have sounded like? Wonder no more as YouTube user DtRockstar1 caught the concept starting, running, and driving off during the Eyes on Design car show. The Sixteen concept previewed styling for future Cadillac models when it debuted in 2003. Unfortunately, market conditions, fuel economy regs, and a little thing like a bankruptcy conspired to keep this vision of a Cadillac flagship off of the road. Expect a true Cadillac flagship to hit the road in the coming years with styling inspired not by the Sixteen, but rather the Ciel concept and to pack half the cylinders and much less than this car's 1000hp.
