Cadillac to get 5 year / 100000 mile powertrain warranty
GM announced today that they will begin in the 2007 model year by offering a 100000 mile / 5 year powertrain warranty on all 8 brands in the GM fleet, including Cadillac. In addition, roadside assistance is now good on all 2007 and newer models for the same 5 year / 100000k as the powertrain warranty. For Cadillac, the bumper-to-bumper warranty remains at the, still impressive, 4 year / 50000 miles. Now that GM is standing more firmly behind their ever improving quality, we can see if that stems the company-wide slide in market share (Cadillac being one of the few bright spots in that regard).
