Flint engine plant to begin building high-feature V-6 for Cadillac

The Flint Journal is reporting that GM is investing $300 million in the Flint Engine South plant (currently the source of GM's 4.2l inline 6-cylinder engines for the GMT360 line of SUV's - such as the Chevrolet Trailblazer) in order to begin production of the high-feature VVT V-6 used in the current line of Cadillacs. The V-6 engines are currently produced in Ontario, Canada. Production in Flint will first be used in the CTS, and as production increases, V-6 engines for both the SRX and STS will come from this plant. Read all about it at: MLive.com: Engine Plant Fires Up
