Cadillac Unexpectedly Discontinues SRX Turbo

We really enjoyed our time in the SRX 2.8l Turbo model early in 2010. Apparently buyers did not. As of the beginning of 2011, Cadillac will stop offering the turbo engine in the SRX. From the standpoint of high-altitude areas like Colorado, this leaves the underpowered 3.0 VVT that is even more underpowered as the only option. We'll see about getting a non-turbo for review to determine exactly how much is lost when the turbo 6 isn't in the engine room. Of course, this could also just be an interim step before Cadillac offers a new up-rated engine - but I won't be holding my breath.
