2015 Cadillac Escalade Pricing Announced
Cadillac has announced pricing of the 2015 Escalade and it follows their recent trend toward pricing in line with competition rather than trying to compete on price. Starting price of the latest Escalade is $72,690 (including destination), an increase over the prior generation of $3725. This places the Escalade in the thick of the luxury SUV market with only the starting price of Lexus' LX being higher. Yep, Escalade is going to have a higher starting price than the Mercedes GL and Land Rover's Range Rover offerings. We will have to wait closer to launch to get more detailed pricing, as it may turn out that the Escalade is a bargain compared to a fully optioned example of the competition. Arguably, the Escalade does come with 20" wheels, full LED lighting, as well as Magnetic Ride Control - all standard. Time will tell if the market will accept this bump in price. The 2015 Escalade should be available this summer, once the factories finish their change-over for the new models.
